Obituary: Charles ‘Chuck’ Reynolds

Charles Edward “Chuck” Reynolds, 49, died unexpectedly, Monday, May 11, 2015, in Monroe, N.C., as result of an automobile accident.

He was born December 28, 1965 in Hamlet son of James Elijah Reynolds and Dottie Strickland Chavis.

Chuck was employed at INA Bearing and a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and father and very family oriented. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Reynolds; sister, Angela King; and brother, Ernest Reynolds.

He is survived by his wife, Clarissa Stewart Reynolds of the home; mother, Dottie Strickland Chavis of Rockingham; daughters, Alyssa Michele Reynolds of Greenville and Kristin Alyse Reynolds of the home; brothers, Connie “Crow” Crowley of Hamlet and Jimbo Keller of Wallace, S.C.; sisters, Judy Rusich of Marston, Fenny Williams of Hamlet, Linda Hardin of Colorado, Wendy Reynolds of Pinebluff, Pat Swails of Hamlet, Diane Reynolds of Raeford and Jean Wiggins of Cameron; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 14 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 15 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church, Hatcher Road, Rockingham, with Rev. Travis Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in the Mausoleum at Richmond Memorial Park.

Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Reynolds family.
