Wilma Arlene Smith Hayden Sweet, 80, of Ellerbe, N.C., passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living Center in Candor.
Mrs. Sweet was born May 5, 1935 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Clem C. and Hessie Baucom Smith.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Carter Funeral Home Ellerbe Chapel with Rev. Tim Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery.
The family will see friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at Jimmy’s home, 624 Firetower Road, Ellerbe.
