He just finished the fifth grade at R. Brown McAllister Elementary School and was looking forward to attending Concord Middle School. Brylan was the “typical boy” who enjoyed riding his scooter, skateboard, playing soccer, target shooting and video games. He liked cars and No. 88 Dale Jr. was his favorite driver.

Brylan’s best friend was his dog, Scooter. If Brylan was at home, Scooter was by his side. Brylan was quiet, tenderhearted and he genuinely cared about others. Hearts and lives have been broken and life will never be the same without him, but his family takes comfort in knowing they will see him again one day.

In addition to his parents, survivors include his brothers, Donavan Hall and Layne Coward; grandparents, Gary and Linda Coward of Rockingham, and Lewis Hall Jr. and Kathy Hall of North Wilkesboro, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday July 5 at Wilkinson Funeral Home with a funeral service to be held in the chapel at 3 p.m. with Pastors, Eugene Oldham and Doug Agnew officiating. Burial will follow at Cabarrus Memorial Gardens.

With Brylan’s love of animals, contributions may be made to the Cabarrus County Animal Shelter, 244 Betsy Carpenter Place, Concord, NC 28025 or to the Humane Society of Concord & Greater Cabarrus County, 2010 Wilshire Court SW, Concord, NC 28025.
