HAMLET, N.C. — Linda Ann Knight,65, of Hamlet, died Friday, June 26, 2015 at Richmond County Hospice Haven.
She was born April 19, 1950 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late D.A. Knight Jr. and Myrna Terry Knight.
She was a member of Second Baptist Church, where she served in many capacities and retired from Perdue.

Surviving, Her sons, Matthew Donald Knight and wife Stephanie and Michael Charles Knight all of Texas; brothers, Donald Knight and wife Susan and Charlie Knight and wife Nancy all of Hamlet; nieces, Dawn Knight Locklear, Melaine Knight Carnes, Amy Knight Williams and April Knight Green; great nieces, McKayla Locklear and Karrington Locklear; great nephews, Ashten Locklear and Connor Green.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 1 at Second Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Hawks officiating. Burial will follow at Mary Love Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
