Jackson Springs man held on $750K bond

CARTHAGE — Moore County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Jackson Springs man on Thursday after a search warrant of his Shaver Lane home.

Deputies and officers from Pinehurst Police Department executed the search warrant at the home of Timothy Lee Creed. During the search deputies found and seized cocaine, oxycodone prescription pills, buprenorphine sublingual strips, a firearm and U.S. currency.

Creed was charged with trafficking of opium, possession with the intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver cocaine, felony possession of cocaine, maintaining a dwelling to keep a controlled substance, possession of firearm by a felon, misdemeanor possession of a schedule III controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Creed was placed in the Moore County Detention Center under a $750,000.00 secured bond.
