Carpenter, Davis, Stanley go 1-2-3 in Crime Stoppers poster contest

ROCKINGHAM — Annika Carpenter, a seventh-grader at Rockingham Middle School, was announced on Friday as the winner of the Richmond County Crime Stoppers annual poster contest.

With the win, Carpenter earns a $75 check and her winning poster design will be on display in Richmond County Schools, the State Employees Credit Union, area law enforcement agencies and local businesses.

Chasity Davis, an RMS eighth grade student, was second and Ninth Grade Academy student Trinity Stanley was third, and they won $50 and $25, respectively.

Jeff Avant, vice chairman of Richmond County Crime Stoppers, presented the checks to each student.
