Bold Moves dancers excel in Myrtle Beach competition

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Two dancers with Rockingham-based Bold Moves Dance Company brought home gold awards in a Mother’s Day weekend competition in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Abbie Player, 8, entered the solo hip hop division with a routine entitled, “Girls Just Gotta Have Fun.” She received a gold award and 10th place overall out of all soloists in her age division.

Alyse Player, 17, entered the lyrical jazz category with a routine entitled, “Say Something.” She also earned a gold award.
