Obituary: Tommy Fann

Mr. Tommy Fann, 75, of 105 Steen Park Road, Rockingham, N.C., died, Sunday, April 12, 2015 at his residence.

He was born May 7, 1939, in Autryville, N.C., son of Bert Fann and Annie Liles Fann.

Mr. Fann was a certified with EPA and a veteran of U.S. Army.

flagHe was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Dot Fann; and a daughter, Sandy Burr Leaird.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Brigman Fann of the home; daughters, Jackie Morton, Shirley Humphries, Dena Brown and Kim Butler (Randy); sons, Tony Fann , Mike Brown (Lynn), Terry Brown (Anna), Chris Brown (Billie Jean) and Bobby Chavis; brother, Pete (Ruby) Fann of Burlington; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

His service and burial will be private at a later date.

Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Fann Family.
