Belton Junior Chavis, 74, of Rockingham, N.C., passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at his home.
Mr. Chavis was born July 7, 1940 in Scotland County, a son of the late Belton D. and Pauline Jacobs Chavis.
Graveside services will be at noon on Saturday at Northam Cemetery with Rev. Joe B. Wilkes Jr. officiating.
The family will see friends from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
