Arrest made in Moore County homicide

CARTHAGE — More County Sheriff Neil Godfrey announced the arrest today of James Allen Bullins, 37, for the murder of his wife, Ruby Scott Bullins.

Deputies responded to the Bullins’ residence located at 699 McIntosh Road in Carthage at approximately 8:15 p.m. on Sunday. Deputies found the body of Ruby Scott Bullins, 58, inside the residence.

James Allen Bullins has been charged with one count of first degree murder and one count of malicious assault in secret. He is being held in the Moore County Detention Center without bond.
