Two Raiders qualify for TSA Nationals

Thirteen Richmond Senior High School students attended the North Carolina Technology Student Associations’s State Conference from March 22 to March 24 and two of those students qualified for the national event.

Cody Mabe placed first in Flight Endurance and Logan Kennedy earned third place in the same category. They will represent RSHS this June at the 2015 National TSA Conference in Dallas, Texas.

Top 10 Finishers from RSHS include: Tate Hodges in Technical Sketching; Kristi Reep, Stephanie Crawford, and Tyrell Camlin in Fashion Design as well as Jordan Jones, Stephen Collins, Tate Hodges, Kristi Reep, and Derek Wilderman in Architectural Renovation.

Made up of more than 200,000 middle and high school students, the Technology Student Association is geared to those who aspire to be future engineers, scientists and technologists.

Greg Norton and Fred Morris are the TSA chapter advisors for the Raiders.
