Thomas Hazel Crowley, 74, of Rockingham, N.C., passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.

Mr. Crowley was born October 30, 1940 in Chesterfield County, S.C., a son of the late Henry Coley and Cora Alma Wilkerson Crowley.

He was the owner and operator of Crowley Motors and was preceded in death by a brother, Coley “Gabby” Crowley.

Mr. Crowley accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He had a heart of gold and was well-known in the community. There wasn’t anything that anyone needed that he didn’t give with a willing spirit. He was a blessing to everyone that he came in contact with (Matthew 25:40).

Surviving are his wife, Lisa Perez Crowley of the home; daughters, Julie Bryant of Ellerbe, Teresa Oakley of Lenoir, Jan Mosier of Cassatt, S.C., Sandra McElveen of Hartsville, S.C.; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, James Crowley of Hartsville and sisters, Wilene Rollins, Ruby Norwood, Margie Hall and Linda Hayden, all of Hartsville.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 2pm Friday, April 3, 2015 at Covenant Presbyterian Church with Rev. James Watson officiating. The family will see friends following the service and at other times at the home.
