Monroe Ave. inducts 21 into National Jr. Beta Club

HAMLET — The more you learn, the more you can do.

Just ask Monroe Avenue Elementary Schol’s 21 charter National Junior Beta Club members, and they’ll tell you they expect to do great things because they’re focused on what the Beta Club is all about: academic achievement, character, leadership and service.

The students were recently celebrated with an induction ceremony where North Carolina’s Insurance Commissioner Wayne Goodwin spoke. The Hamlet native and Monroe Avenue alum encouraged them to “be the best students by learning all you can.” 

Special congratulations go to our inductees: Jaiden Baldwin, Dakota Chavis, Isis Covington, Brianna Dodson, Joshua Foster, Charlie Gross, Keylyn Hoffman, Piper Hopkins, Kaitlyn Huff, Johnnie Jordan, Kadin Long, Alexis Lopez, Darwin Montalvo, Arriel Patterson, Rayne Pitchford, Christian Sanchez, Jihad Terry, Karen Tilley, Vicente Torruco, Cody Webster and Biana Williams.
