Hospice welcomes new volunteers

HospiceROCKINGHAM — Richmond County Hospice welcomed six  new volunteers who completed the 12-hour volunteer training on March 5.

Most people want to live and die peacefully at home. But in reality, 74 percent die in medical institutions. Hospice care at home offers a choice. Richmond County Hospice provides comprehensive hospice services to the terminally ill and their families, usually at home and regardless of the ability to pay.
