Chase ends in two-car crash

ELLERBE — Sources have told The Pee Dee Post that a high-speed chase ended in a two-car crash Sunday evening on Main Street in Ellerbe.

Details of the incident were not immediately available. Personnel from the Ellerbe Fire and Ellerbe Rescue units, along with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office and North Carolina Highway Patrol responded to the scene. The chase ended when one of the vehicles crashed into a telephone pole on Main Street at the intersection of Page Street. The crash occurred at approximately 6:15 p.m.

The medical conditions of either driver of the two vehicles were not immediately known, nor if there were passengers in either vehicle.

    The one that was hurt in the crash and airlifted was NOT being chased, he was on his way to work and was hit by one of the people running from the law.

      Sources have told the Pee Dee Post….that’s what young Mr. Spradlin writes when he’s posting gossip without even trying to get to the truth. Either he needs to learn how to get his facts straight or we should all just stop taking him seriously.

        No Mr. “Tomorrow,” we have to rely on sources because the PDP simply can’t be at the scene of every single incident. If you know anything about journalism, then you know that to be true.
