The cheerleaders studying under the tutelage of head coach Cassie Tyler, who was married in December and changed her last name from Patrick to Tyler, performed very well at this past weekend’s state championship event at Winston-Salem University in Winston-Salem. Tyler is assisted by coaches Colby Patrick and Caroline Walker. The squads are a part of Tyler’s Young Champions of America program that is based inside the Falling Creek Park gymnasium.
