Rest in peace, wild weenie dog

To the editor:

Rest In Peace, Wild Weenie Dog.

Erskine has crossed the Rainbow Bridge, running with the wind in his ears and is now enthusiastically chasing all the Heavenly squirrels. We’ll see you again someday, little one.

letter_logoWhat we suspected, and yet hoped would not be, is confirmed. His life was taken on Nov. 5, 2014, the day he went missing.

Tommy and I can’t find the proper words to thank everyone for the support, prayers, shares, and words of encouragement. We will remember your kindnesses forever.

Saying goodbye to a fur baby is so hard. My granddog, Madison {Border Collie)went peacefully, at home on Memorial Day 2014. Now her litter mate has been diagnosed with the same awful killer (colon cancer). What are the odds of this happening to two litter mates just months apart. Luna was 10 years old January 2015..Madison didn’t make it to her 10th year. My heart goes out to you and the loss of your four legged child. They are playing across the Rainbow Bridge until one day they will rush to your side. Sincerely, Charleen B. Morrow
