Rockingham man faces drug, stolen vehicle charges

HAMLET — A Rockingham man is facing a series of charges after being arrested on Jan. 4 by Hamlet police officers.

Justin Chambers, 24, was arrested and charged initially with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and possession of drug paraphernalia. The next day, Chambers was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.

Chambers is being held at the Richmond County Jail under a $17,000 secured bond on the drug charges and another $25,000 secured bond for the stolen vehicle charge.
