Police: Roberdel woman sold meth to cops

Richmond County sheriff’s deputies on Saturday arrested a 28-year-old Hamlet man wanted for breaking into a building and theft.
Authorities allege that Charles Joseph Strickland broke into a building on Connell Road in Rockingham, and that he later returned on a separate date and took items from the property, which he later sold at a scrap yard.
Strickland was charged with breaking and entering, two counts of felony larceny and two counts of obtaining property by false pretense. Strickland was arrested and placed in Richmond County Jail under a $20,000 secure bond.

A 22-year-old Roberdel woman was arrested on Jan. 20 and charged with two counts of selling methamphetamine to police on two different occasions and a one count of possession with intent to distribute meth.
Lindsay Blake Polston, of Roberdel School Road, was placed in Richmond County Jail on a $5,000 unsecure bond.
