10 score as Rockets handle Ellerbe, 45-14

ROCKINGHAM — Ten players scored for Rockingham on Thursday to lead the Rockets to a 45-14 home win over Ellerbe.

Ralayah McRae led the way with 15 points, while Allexis Swiney was the only other player in double figures with 11 points. Keionna Love, Hailey Miller and Kayla Hawkins tacked on three points apiece to help Rockingham improve to 8-0 on the season.

RocketsTaliah Wall, Emily Parsons, Madison Jordan, Jadyn Johnson and Hannah Bennett each chipped in two points for the Rockets, who next play on Monday at Hamlet.

Rockingham then prepares for its regular season finale on Jan. 29 versus Anson.

Playoffs are set for Feb. 2 and Feb. 5 with the championship contest on Feb. 9.
