Mr. Tommy Douglas Wilson, 66, of 145 Sharon Road, Rockingham, N.C., died Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014 at Richmond Pines Healthcare in Hamlet.
He was born Feb. 2, 1948, in Richmond County, son of Eldrid Wilson and Clara Mae Thompson Wilson.
He was previously employed by Burlington Industries, a veteran of U.S. Army and attended Faith Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Ray Wilson of the home; daughters, Toni Jenean Goins of Rockingham and Paula Kay Rogers of Cordova; sisters, Shirley Wilson of Cordova and Glenda Wilson of Rockingham; four grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon and Nick Goins and Jesse Rogers; and a step-granddaughter, Jessica Cummings.
Visitation will be from 12:30 pm. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church with a memorial service to begin at 1:30 p.m.. Rev. Travis Wilkerson and Rev. Lester English will be officiating.
