ROCKINGHAM, N.C. — Susan Hope Peele, 61, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil P. Peele, Sr. and Bobbie Starling Peele; and brothers, Cecil “Pate” Peele and Corbin Phillip Peele.
She is survived by one brother, Pastor Stephen Peele and wife Glenda of Easley, S.C.; a daughter, Kimberly Britt and husband Tim, of Hamlet; a son, Michael Teal and wife Shari, of Vass; four grandchildren, Breanna Teal, Megan Britt, Chase Teal, and Blaise Teal; seven nephews and three nieces.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17 at Outreach for Jesus with Bishop Marvin Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Peele Cemetery in Gibson.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Watson – King Funeral Home in Hamlet and other times at the home, 109 Stilwell St., Rockingham.
