John Calvin Taylor Jr., 47, of 156 Lances Run, Hamlet, N.C., died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at his residence.
He was born June 23, 1967 in Richmond County son of John C. Taylor Sr. and Lois Hailey.
John was a salesman for concrete supply and a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Mayberry Taylor of the home; sons, Christopher Taylor of Hamlet and Jonathan Taylor of the home; mother, Lois Hailey Brown of Hamlet; and granddaughter, Maddy Taylor .
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p..m Friday, Jan. 2, 2015 at Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 3 at Faith Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Terry McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Memorial Park.
Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the Taylor family.
