HAMLET —  The debut concert in Richmond County organized by Communities United Outreach on Dec. 11 at Cole Auditorium in Hamlet was a success.

Dean Dixon said approximately 775 people attended the concert and that “it was a great time.”

“We highlighted the young boy from Temple Christian (Academy) who collected hats, gloves and jackets for the homeless and the shelters such as “he Place of Grace (Rescue Mission) and The Hamlet Dream Center,” Dixon said.
