Veterans Day alters Hamlet meeting date, garbage pickup

The City of Hamlet offices will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day.

Garbage pickup for Tuesday will be collected on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

At the October City Council meeting, the board announced the November meeting, normally held the second Tuesday of each month, would be changed to Monday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. due to the holiday.
