Mack Dewey Smith III, 53, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham.
Dewey was born Oct. 8, 1961 in Richmond County, a son of Mary Ellen Slack Smith and the late Mack Dewey Smith Jr.
A service to celebrate Dewey’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Wesley Williams officiating.
The family will see friends following the service and at other times at the home.
