To the editor:
Please take time to turn ballot over to the back and vote for Richmond Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisor.
We have two good candidates. Tommy Deese is a poultry and cattle farmer and retired from the Forestry Service. Jared Gainey works for Duke Power and is a poultry farmer. Both men have volunteered their time to the betterment of Richmond County and to help conserve our natural resources.
The Soil Conservation motto “Soil and Water for Life” has two meanings. One is to have and conserve our soil and water for life and the second and true meaning is we need healthy, good soil and water to feed, cloth and shelter us in our lifetime .
Both these men will work toward that goal; so please check the box for Tommy Deese AND write in Jared Gainey.
