Norma “Jean” Chunn 73, of Rockingham, N.C. passed away on Oct. 23, 2014 at The Oaks of Mayview in Raleigh.
She was born in Washington D.C. to the late Joseph Eli Ickes and Eulla Marie Thomas.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Carter Funeral Home, 705 S. Caroline St., Rockingham. The family will receive friends immediately after the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Jean’s memory be made to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation (for Childhood Cancer Research), and the Make a Wish Foundation.
