In fact, Weston Wilson already has auditioned for NBC’s hit, The Voice. The seventh season of the show debuts tonight in a two-hour special on NBC. The program airs each Monday and Tuesday beginning at 8 p.m.

The Voice a singing competition similar to American Idol on Fox. Winners are determined by viewers, who vote by text, Internet, phone and iTunes store purchases of the artist’s audio-recorded vocal performance. The winner receives $100,000 and an agreement Universal Music Group.

Also similar to the Fox production, The Voice contests are coached by a pane of four music industry insiders. The judges this year include Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani.

Wilson, 17, is a senior at Richmond Early College. He plans to graduate in May with his associates degree from Richmond Community College and a high school diploma.
