Hydrants tested, flushed around Rockingham

ROCKINGHAM — Engineer Ed Hairfield and firefighter Josh Haley flush a fire hydrant at the corner of East Washington and South Lawrence streets late Wednesday morning in downtown Rockingham.

The pair have a list of 45 hydrants to test while Lt. Wayne Covington and firefighter Joe Cohoon handle a list of another 45 hydrants.

If the water in your home looks brown in color, run water through your faucets until clear.
