Hamlet man stabbed Wednesday

A man stabbed in Hamlet late Wednesday night is still being treated for injuries suffered in the alleged attack, according to police.

A Hamlet Police Department investigator said emergency call for help was reported at about 11 p.m. The call came from McDonald Avenue. The man “claims that he was walking and somebody stabbed him.”crimefiles

The officer said the man is still being treated in a Charlotte hospital and “we haven’t been able to really talk with him.”
