Interim Hamlet Police Chief Rodney Tucker said Monday afternoon that a Hamlet man reported missing on Friday has been found safe.

“Mr. Kenny Stuart was located today in Richmond County,” Tucker wrote to area media outlets. “He is well and doing fine. No criminal acts were involved in him leaving his home.”

Denise Stuart reported her husband, 47, missing. Denise Stuart advised that her husband left their Susan Road home to go for a walk at about 2 p.m. July 14. She had not heard from or seen him since.
