Richmond County sheriff’s deputies and officers with the Rockingham Police Department on Wednesday arrested an East Rockingham man on multiple drug charges.
Travis Lee Simmons, 34, of Mill Road, was also held on charges from Montgomery County stemming from a burglary and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill during a suspected home invasion.
Police allege Simmons sold cocaine at his Mill Road Road and was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, selling cocaine and maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance.
Simmons is being held in Richmond County Jail on a $60,000 secure bond. He is scheduled to appear on Aug. 7 and on Aug. 14 in Richmond County District Court.
