Basic Drawing sessions begin in June

IMG_1484CHERAW, S.C. — Like to sketch or doodle?  Want to release that inner artist?
Join us June 8-10 for Basic Drawing classes.  The Cheraw Arts Commission presents 2 hour Basic Drawing Classes each day for ages 9-12 in the mornings and evening classes for ages 13-Adult.
The instructor will be Taylor Chestnut who is a 2015 graduate of the South Carolina Governor’s School in Arts and Humanities.  Participants receive instruction in figure drawing and still life with experimental methods including graphite, ink wash, sharpie, crayon and conte.
Classes will be held at the Cheraw Community Center- 200 Powe Street.
The $25 registration fee includes all supplies. Pre-registration is required by calling the CAC 843.537.8420 x12 or signing up at the Cheraw Community Center.  The Cheraw Arts Commission is supported by the SC Arts Commission which receives funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
