Pet boutique relocates in Rockingham

ROCKINGHAM — The Richmond County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the recent relocation and ribbon cutting for Aunt Tessie’s Pet Boutique.

On Sept. 16, several members of the chamber and local officials joined owners Tessie Caulder and Scott Dycus to cut the ribbon for their new location now at 195 Highway 74 West in Rockingham.  Chamber President Emily Tucker welcomed guests to begin the ceremony. Other speakers for the ceremony included: Richmond County Commissioner Thad Ussery and Rockingham Mayor Steve Morris along with Caulder and Dycus.

Aunt Tessie’s Pet Boutique is locally owned and operated. Their services include: Grooming, Licensed Daycare and Licensed Boarding. Tessie Caulder has been serving Richmond County and surrounding counties for 15 yrs and began the “Mile of Pennies for a Second Chance” for injured animals to receive vet care through Cooley’s Animal Hospital.

“We’re pleased to have a hometown young people choose Rockingham as a location to continue to do business  and very excited to have them as a Chamber member,” said Tucker. “We wish Tessie and Scott much success in their new location.”
