Obituary: Emily Faye Quick

obit_iconMiss Emily Faye Quick, 69 of Hamlet, N.C., passed peacefully after a brief illness on Dec. 5, 2014 at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care, Pinehurst.

She born in Richmond County on July 26, 1945, daughter of Foster and Bertha Brigman Quick.

Emily enjoyed giving hugs, visiting with friend, and time spent with her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother James Curtis Quick.

She is survived by: her sisters, Carol J. Howard, of Hamlet, with whom she made her home; and Shirley Q. Fields, of Greenville; her brother, Richard E. Quick, of Hamlet; her sister-in-law, Kathleen B. Quick, of Indianatlantic, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at Harrington Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at Harrington Funeral Home, with CRE Belinda Rice officiating.

Burial will follow at the Thomas Brigman Family Cemetery, Bennettsville, S.C.
