MOUNT SAVAGE — Derek Hunter led the field of six players in Week 5 of the Saturday Morning Tag League at Mile Lane Disc Golf Course in Mount Savage.
Hunter, of Bedford, edged course designer Scott Mallery, 54, of Mount Savage, by three strokes (67 to 70) for the win. Ethan von Hagel, 19, of Cumberland, placed third (72). Seth Wilson, 28, of Cresaptown, finished fourth (76), one stroke ahead of Kevin Spradlin, 43, of Frostburg (77). Sam Wolodkin, 20, of Frostburg, rounded out the field on a warm and humid morning with an 84.
League play resumes at 10 a.m. on Aug. 13. The 2nd annual Summer Fling doubles tournament is scheduled for Aug. 20.
