Two early voting spots open today

GUILFORD COUNTY — Early Voting for the May 8 Primary Election begins at 8 a.m. today at two locations: the Guilford County Old Courthouse and Washington Terrace Park.

Those two sites will be available on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Six other sites will open on April 26, in addition to the Old Courthouse and Washington Terrace Park.

The list shows six early voting sites that open April 26. These six sites will be available 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Thursday, April 26. All early voting sites will be open Saturday, May 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Election Day will be from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8 and voters must go to their assigned precincts.

Same-day registration will be available during early voting only, not election day.
