Police investigating Battleground Rite Aid robbery

Greensboro_PD_logoGREENSBORO — City police officers responded to a business in the 3300 block of Battleground Avenue at about 8:48 p.m. Tuesday after a report of a robbery.

Police said a man entered the business and displayed a note demanding money. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving on foot.

No injuries were reported.

The suspect was described as a bearded black-male, between 5′-8″ and 5’9″. He was last seen wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt.

The investigation is ongoing.
