Wind advisory until 11 p.m.

FROSTBURG — The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory through 11 p.m. Wednesday in the Frostburg area.

The affected area includes the West Virginia towns of Mount Storm and Elk Garden.

The NWS forecasts winds from the southeast between 20 and 30 mph with gusts reaching between 40 and 50 mph, especially on exposed ridgelines.

The forecast warns of the potential for scattered tree and power line damage as well as difficulty driving high profile vehicles.
