HAMLET — The city of Hamlet Parks and Recreation Department will open youth soccer registration on Monday, June 8 through July 24. Late registration runs from July 27 through July 31.
Parents can register their children at City Hall on Main Street in Hamlet between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each regular business day.
Players must be at least 4 years old by April 30, 2015 and cannot turn 13 before that same date.
League play is divided into the following age groups: 4 to 6, 7 to 9 and 10 to 12. Players will play in leagues based on their ages as of April 30.
The registration fee is $30 per athlete — $40 per athlete during late registration.
