Face-painting was a favorite activity as well as static display offered by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, including Sgt. N.L. Forrester, Det. Lang Harrison and Sgt. Tahid Rucker, and the Ellerbe Volunteer Fire Department. Richmond Community College and Richmond County Partnership for Children also had displays at the festival.

Proceeds from the festival help support the improvement council’s summer enrichment program.
