Peggy Barrett Andrews, 72, of 871 Battley Dairy Road, Rockingham, N.C., died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 9, 2015.
She was born February 13, 1943, in Richmond County daughter of Will Barrett and Mary Melton Bryant.
She was a member of Jefferson Park Free Will Baptist Church and previously worked at ADS as a seamstress. Peggy had a sense of humor about her that one could not easily forget. She enjoyed life to the fullest, had many friends and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank “Buddy” Andrews; daughter, Penny McDonald ; sisters, Jessie Gathings, Lucille Gainey and Bessie Lisk; and brothers, Doris Eubanks, Bill Eubanks, Edward Eubanks, Tommy Eubanks, James Eubanks and Rusty Barrett.
She is survived by her son, James “Buster” Andrews and wife Shelia of Whiteberg, Tenn.; daughter, Sherry Greene of Rockingham; sisters, Raymel McQuage and Wilma Bailey, both of Rockingham; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and special friend, Donnie Cobbler of Ellerbe.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, May 11 at Harrington Funeral Home.
The Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 12 at Harrington Funeral Home in the Chapel with Rev. Frank McQuage and Rev. Roger Webster officiating.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
