Obituary: Edna Coble King

Edna Coble King, 62, of 401 Maness Avenue, Rockingham, N.C., died Friday, May 22, 2015 at her residence.

She was born July 6, 1952, in Richmond County, daughter of Sam E. Coble and Neeley Gardner Coble.

Edna was a member of New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church and a homemaker.

obitShe was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Neeley Coble; husband, James King; and sisters, Teresa Allen, Josephine Hurst and Lucille Grooms.

She is survived by sons, Robbie King and Dillion King both of Raleigh and James King of Kenley; sisters, Hazelene Campbell and Hilda McCain both of Rockingham; and three grandchildren, Autumn, Cody and Paige King.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27 at New Covenant Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Steve Powell officiating.

The family will meet at other times at the home of her sister, Hazelene Campbell, 16 Dale St., Rockingham.

Harrington Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the King family.
