Betty Jo Peek Edwards, 83, of Rockingham, N.C., passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Pruitt Health in Rockingham.
Mrs. Edwards was born July 22, 1931 in Moore County, a daughter of the late Emory Ervin and Beatrice Meacham Peek.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Wesley Williams officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond CountyMemorial Park.
The family will see friends from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home and at other times at the Thomas home.
