And for the second straight year, the achievement goes to the same address. Samantha “Doodle” Jacobs followed in the footsteps of older sister Summer Jacobs and earned top honors this season after leading the Raiders to a 21-5 record and into the fourth round of the North Carolina Class 4A West Region tournament. Richmond’s postseason run ended May 22 with a 5-2 loss to South Caldwell in Hudson.

The junior third baseman is a three-time all-SEC pick. This season she led the Raiders with a .524 batting average, 10 doubles, five triples, 14 RBI and scored a team-best 33 runs.

Seniors Katie Satterfield and Chelsea Davis also earned all-SEC selections, along with Carleigh Haywood, NaLee Jacobs and Kesley Mabe.
