ART bus offers free trip to Farmers Market

ARTThe Rockingham Farmers Market will be open two days each week to better meet the needs of our residents.

The market will continue to operate on from 8 a.m. to noon each Saturday on Harrington Square and from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. each Wednesday in the County Human Services parking lot, located across from the Rockingham Post Office.

A special bus route has been established for Wednesdays only. Area of Richmond Transit will pick up beginning at 3:15 p.m. from the Dobbins Heights Community Center, Hamlet Senior Center and East Rockingham Park. The van system will run continuously during the Wednesday market with the last pick up going to the market at 4:30 p.m. and the last pick up leaving the Market at 5:30 p.m. . All rides will be providedĀ at no cost to bus passengers.
