Obituary: Nancy McNeil

Nancy Sellers McNeil, 66, of Surfside Beach, S.C., passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Tidelands Hospice House in Georgetown, S.C.

Nancy was born November 17, 1948 in Richmond County, N.C., a daughter of the late John and Emma Millen Sellers.

She had been employed with Krispy Kreme in Surfside Beach and was a housekeeper.

obitIn addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Byron Daniel McNeil and two brothers, Perry and Robert Sellers.

Surviving are her son, John Daniel McNeil of the home; sisters, Edna McDonald of Hamlet and Betty Horne of Rockingham and brothers, Fred and Johnny Sellers, both of Shallotte.

A service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hatcher and Rev. Jim Horne officiating.

The family will see friends from 12:45 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and at other times at the Horne residence, 123 Aleo 9th Ave. Rockingham.
