Farmers Market opens this morning

ROCKINGHAM — Laura Greene, manager of the Rockingham Farmers Market, puts up a sign at the confluence of Fayetteville Road and East Washington Street just before 7 a.m. Saturday.

The goal is to promote this morning’s Farmers Market a few blocks down the street on Harrington Square.

The market is slated to open at 8 a.m. and last until noon despite steady rain in the forecast.
