Obituary: Grace Bostick

obit_iconGrace Robertson Bostick, 93, of Hoffman, N.C., passed away Thursday, March 5, 2015 at ManorCare in Pinehurst.

Mrs. Bostick was born Jan. 13, 1922 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late William Ernest and Ella Verna Butler Robertson.

She was a member of Hoffman United Methodist Church, co-owner and operator of Bostick BP in Hoffman and loved to cook for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Bostick, brothers, Clyde, Roy and Bill Robertson and a sister, Eloise Clement.

Surviving are her sons, Richard Bostick Jr. of Mooresville, Barry Bostick and wife Karla of Hoffman; grandson, Rickie and wife Hope; granddaughter and her namesake, Grace; great-grandson Landon; great granddaughter Sydney; nephew Sam, who was like a son and sister Nann Bryant of Hoffman.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Maness officiating. Interment will follow in the family cemetery.

The family will see friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home.
